Piestany

Is one of the oldest spas in Slovakia, with 200 years of tradition in medical spa treatment. It is located in the mid-west of Slovakia, some 80 km far from the capital city Bratislava and around 160 km far from Vienna, so it takes less than two hours to get there from the airport.

It is located in the middle of a beautiful park on a spa island, where patients can relax, as well as try different sports activities or participate in cultural events.

The spa has natural thermal mineral water and mud containing Sulphur, that is very effective in treating rheumatism, diseases of the movement system for example arthrosis, arthritis, scoliosis, polyneuropathy, light hemiparesis or multiple sclerosis.

The price of the stay includes accommodation with full board, initial and final check up by doctor, diagnostics and lab tests (for stays at least 13 nights long), report at the end of stay, individually prescribed treatment up to 24 treatments/week.

The treatments include different kinds of massages, mineral water treatment, mud packs, exercises in water, Kneip’s path, magnetic therapy, bath with different additives, dry carbon bath and many others.
